Now Hiring: Senior Copywriter

We’re looking to add a highly talented, highly motivated Senior Copywriter to our team.

Your hunger to be an important part of a smart, ambitious, ego-free team with high standards and strong work ethic matters more, too.

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience at an ad agency or in-house creative department

  • Demonstrates a firm understanding of all assigned brand voices

  • Partners with art directors to concept and present internally and externally

  • Executes ideas across all mediums and is intimately familiar with the capabilities of each

  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions

  • Generates creative solutions; Uses feedback to modify concepts; Demonstrates attention to detail

  • Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others

  • Comfortably attends and contributes to productions with a growing ability to oversee and provide direction

  • Processes feedback with some guidance from superiors and is able to devise solutions and rationales as to the direction of the creative

  • Maintains clear and responsive inter-department communication throughout each creative request

Salary Range: $65,000 - 70,000

Location: This is a hybrid position. Firehouse is on-site Tuesday-Thursdays in Dallas and remote on Mondays and Fridays. 

Hiring Process: You can expect:

  • An initial interview with the Group Creative Director

  • Second-round interviews with members of senior leadership across departments

  • Final interview with the Chief Creative Officer
