After getting to know the Hunger Busters Dallas organization during an Interstate Batteries campaign, we were eager to lend a hand. Last week, the Firehouse team spent an afternoon volunteering this Dallas-based charity putting together more than 600 meals for food-insecure children in Dallas ISD. Their program will feed more than 350,000 students this upcoming year, and they’re always looking for volunteers to put together this much-needed third meal for children in-need.
