The Women of Firehouse

As we reflect upon the theme of this year's International Women’s Day, Each for Equal, it’s no secret that the advertising industry hasn’t exactly been at the forefront of creating a gender-equal world. Yes, there are signs of change, but they’re long overdue. At Firehouse, we’re proud to say our company is truly gender-balanced as 50% of our agency is female. This percentage is even greater when you take a look at our leadership - 71% of our decision-making and culture-driving team is made up of strong women of character and integrity. Their experience, drive and insights make us better each and every day.

As both professionals and people, they set a high bar for others to emulate. Our team includes a 2019 AAF Dallas Shining Star, the incoming president of the DFW Interactive Marketing Assoc. (DFWIMA), and multiple 4As IAAS fellows and champions.They’re account managers, strategists, creatives and project managers by day, but they also wear other hats like ‘mom’ and ‘volunteer’ and share their creative skill sets with the community.

When it comes to decision making here at the agency, we always ask ourselves “what’s the right thing to do?” Choosing to build and grow our company in an intelligent, gender-balanced way was more than just the right thing to do, it was far and away the best thing to do.
