Now Hiring: Senior Strategic Planner

We’re looking for a Senior Strategic Planner able to meet the following responsibilities and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering data to develop well-informed strategic plans for clients including conducting consumer research (qualitative and quantitative), one-on-one interviews, and digging into syndicated data tools like MRI

  • Examining clients’ businesses to get to know their brands and understand their objectives

  • Writing insightful briefs that inspire the creative team and set them up for success

  • Producing comms plans that maximize the marriage of creative idea and media plan

  • Leading internal brainstorms with agency teammates

  • Running brand strategy workshops with clients and producing meaningful and actionable outputs

  • Identifying strategic problems and opportunities and devising ways to address them

Requirements

  • Strong presentation skills: the ability to create decks (Keynote & Powerpoint) and present to all levels of clients

  • Ability to assess and distill data into actionable insights using existing tools (Google Analytics, MRI, etc.) and new ones

  • Experience creating qualitative and quantitative research methodology and running studies on your own

  • Proven ability to craft a meaningful creative brief

  • A good knowledge of media and how it relates to creative ideas

  • The flexibility to work on multiple projects and categories at the same time

  • The drive and curiosity to learn new things and share them with others

  • 4+ years of relevant experience


Salary Range: $75,000 - 95,000

Location: This is a hybrid position. Firehouse is on-site Tuesday-Thursdays in Dallas and remote on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
